Hi. I am selling my mother's 1994 Mercury Sable. She had left it out here in Louisville, Colorado so she had something to drive when she came to visit. Her health does not allow her to travel much anymore so she has decided to sell the car.
This is 1994. I am not sure if it is a GS or LS. I has fairly low miles: 77,000. White with red cloth interior. The tires are good, I would guess less than half worn. Shocks still good. A/C blows cold, but on really hot days feels like it could use a recharge. Power Windows, Power locks. We had the water pump changed for her last year. Car always starts right up and we have been driving it once per week or so to keep everything working well.
It has a few small flaws:
The front bumper has a small chip out of it. You can see this in the photos. There is a little bit of rust forming below the back passenger door. The car has a very slight transmission leak. I have added just a bit over 1 quart in the last 15,000 miles that my mom has been driving this car.
It's comfortable. Quiet. Easily holds 5 adults and a huge trunk. It doesn't use any motor oil. Decent power with the 3.0 liter V6. It gets more than 25 miles per gallon on the highway. I just has the car smogged here in Colorado and it passed with flying colors. This should be a good reliable car for someone.
